» Kalusugan Karavan: Medical Mission in Aklan
Last October 30, 2008 the GMAKF team went to Libacao, Aklan for a Medical Mission. A total of 1,310 indigent beneficiaries from twenty four baranggays of Libacao, Aklan were served by the said mission. The medical mission provided free medical and dental check-up , circumcision and
medicines as well.



» ISANG KINABUKASAN
The “Isang Kinabukasan” benefit album under GMA Records was awarded by the 30th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) for being the best Album (Secular) and the Isang Kinabukasan Music Video directed by Direk Louie Ignacio as Best Music Video. The Isang Kinabukasan song which is the official theme song of the GMA Kapuso Foundation was composed by singer/songwriter Wency Cornejo.



» Give-A-Gift:Feeding Program
Ongoing feeding program in Brgy. Citrus, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan with 278 malnourished children beneficiaries aged 0-6 . To date 69% of the children have reached the prescribed normal weight in accordance to their age.



» Give-A-Gift: Hernia
A simultaneous Hernia operation was conducted in Davao and Cebu City last October 25, 2008. Now on its second year, in Davao and Cebu. For Davao City 18 indigent children were given free surgery operations conducted in Davao Medical Center. While in Cebu Cebu City 30 indigent children were also given free surgery operations conducted in Cebu City Medical Center.
