» Feeding Program in Bulacan
After five months in the GAG: Feed-A-Child Project, the 278 malnourished children beneficiaries in Brgy Citrus, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan have finally reached the average weight required for their age.
The bi-annual feeding program of the Foundation is implemented in partnership with the National Nutrition Council and is designed to feed the children-beneficiaries as well as to educate their parents, especially the mothers, regarding proper nutrition. Through the project, parents learn the basics on food preparation and the nutritional value of the meals that they arrange for their families.

» Las Piñas Fire Incident
The GMA Kapuso Foundation team provided a soup kitchen to the 250 affected families in the fire taht broke out last December 7 in barangay Talon, Las Piñas City. further assistance was extended through the distribution of relief goods and used clothing.

» Flashfloods in Daet and Labo, Camarines Norte
Thousands of families were rendered partially or totally homeless after five days of heavy downpour, caused rivers to overflow, submerging low lying areas in Camarines Norte. The GMA Kapuso foundation quickly responded on November 27, by distributing relief gods to 1,500 affected families in the areas of Daet and Labo in Camarines Norte.

» Flashfloods and Fire in Palawan
Aside from the floods brought about by Typhoon Tonyo, a fire also took place in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The GMA Kapuso Foundation team responded to both calamities by giving help to 1,800 families through the distribution of relief goods and clothes last November 25.

» Fire Incident in Cebu
A fire that broke out in Barangay Basak in San Nicholas, Cebu left 135 families homeless last November 21. In response, relief goods from the GMA Kapuso Foundation were provided for the families affected by the blaze with the help of our Kapuso Cebuanos.

» Operation Bayanihan: Typhoid Fever Outbreak in Quezon Province
More than a hundred residents from three barangays in Real, Quezon were reported to have acquired typhoid fever. Health authorities suspect the typhoid outbreak to have been caused by the contaminated water coming from the stream and aggravated by the recent heavy rains.

The GMA Kapuso Foundation quickly responded by providing assistance to 150 patients confined in Claro Recto Memorial District Hospital last November 9. The Foundation Team distributed 600 vials of ceftriaxone (1 gram), 300 packs of ready to eat food, 300 pcs. Of bottled water and 300 packs of biscuits.

» Kalusugan Karavan: Medical Mission in Aklan
Last October 30, 2008 the GMAKF team went to Libacao, Aklan for a Medical Mission. A total of 1,310 indigent beneficiaries from twenty four baranggays of Libacao, Aklan were served by the said mission. The medical mission provided free medical and dental check-up , circumcision and medicines as well.

» Give-A-Gift:Feeding Program
Ongoing feeding program in Brgy. Citrus, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan with 278 malnourished children beneficiaries aged 0-6 . To date 69% of the children have reached the prescribed normal weight in accordance to their age.

» Give-A-Gift: Hernia
A simultaneous Hernia operation was conducted in Davao and Cebu City last October 25, 2008. Now on its second year, in Davao and Cebu. For Davao City 18 indigent children were given free surgery operations conducted in Davao Medical Center. While in Cebu Cebu City 30 indigent children were also given free surgery operations conducted in Cebu City Medical Center.
