The GMAKF's disaster relief program is a wellspring of Consolation to victims of calamities and disasters. One of our mandates is to provide emergency relief in times of crises.

» Operation Bayanihan (Relief Operation)

Operation Bayanihan provides immediate relief and assistance to victims of natural and man-made calamities nationwide. The Foundation reaches out to affected families through the provision of a soup kitchen, relief goods, and other relief assistance with 24 hours of teh calamity's occurence.The Soup Kitchen is GAMKF's quick response to serve fire-striken communities. 



» Kapuso School Rehabilitation project (KSR)

An offshoot of Operation Bayanihan, the Relief Operations project of the Kapuso Foundation, the rehabilitation and reconstruction of public elementary schools damaged or destroyed by calamities is our long-term response to disaster management. Known as the Kapuso School Rehabilitation project (KSR), it engages the local community, particularly the parents whose children will benefit from new classrooms, to render volunteer work in teh construction site. This also ensures adequate manpower and the completion of the classrooms in as short a time as possible.
